- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The Aspen Hospital spent millions on the physical building but my one experience as a patient was far from positive. I had a bike accident, ended up with a deep incision in my calf which required stitches. The ER Physician Assistant first wasn't going to irrigate the wound until my husband asked and, his response was, "I wasn't going to but if you want me to, I will." He put in 5 stitches, told me to leave them in 7-14 days, but no longer than 14. I took them out in 14 days and the incision still has not closed 4 weeks after the accident. And, I just got the bill for over $2000. Good medical care? I don't think so.October 11, 2017by Elaine Berman
